Annapurna Trekking

Annapurna region has been recognized as one of the best trekking destination in the world due to its geographically and culturally diversity. The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) working along with Nature Trust for Nature Conservation has played remarkable role for best trekking destination. It lies towards the north of the center Nepal- Stretched over 2600 sq. km, the area boasts of a variety of diverse culture, tribes and casts as Gurung, Magars, Thakali, Brahmins, Chhetries and others peoples are inhabited mostly. Among them Gurungs are the majority. It is one of the indigenous community in Nepal who has known as the Bravery Army in British (UK). It's typical culture has been also encouraged to the trekkers to come in this region. In the highest northern part (Jomsom and Mustang), there are some Tibetan people which culture is very unique and interesting. This area has sub tropical lowland, valleys, bamboo, oak and magnificent Rhododendron forests, alpine meadows, windswept desert plateaus and the towering beautiful Annapurna mountain. The vegetation in this region includes various species of orchids and rhododendron. Wildlife found in this conservation area includes around 100 different kinds of mammals including rare snow leopards and blue sheep. The region also boast of around 478 spices of birds including multi-colored Impheyan, Koklas and blood pheasants. In addition the region is also home to 39 spices of reptiles and 22 spices of amphibians.

In this region Annapurna Himal or mountains have dominated. So, this region has been called the Annapurna Region. As the Himalayan sights or views, there are so many beautiful mountains which has been attracted to come here for trekking all over the world. Annapurna I. Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung, Nilgiri and Himchuli are beautiful Himalayan scenary of this region.

The best gateway of this region is Pokhara city and Besishar of Lamjung district. Both the areas are easily accessible for trekking. Our program mainly includes trekking to Annapurna circuit, Annapurna Base camp, Mardi himal, Jomsom Muktinath, Ghorepani poonhill, Sikless trek. Instead of these we have included some new or virgin trekking route in this region such as Macchapuchre (Fistail) Taan Model Trek, Gurung Heritage Trek, Lamjung Himal Base Camp Trek, Namul La Pass Trek.
