Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking

This trek is suitable to those who have limited time but have a strong desire to see a colorful short foray into the whole Annapurna Region closely. Typical Gurungs and Magars (Indigenous people) villages, culture and beautiful Himalayans are the main trekker's attraction point Mt. Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail (Machhapuchere), Gangapurna and other snowy mountains can be seen or enjoyed with beautifully from here.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive to Phedi. Trek to Potana via Dhampus. (1120 m.)
Day 05: Trek to Landruk.
Day 06: Trek to Ghandruk. (1925 m.)
Day 07: Trek to Tadapani. (2600 m.)
Day 08: Trek to Ghorepani (2855 m).
Day 09: Early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,290 m) for sunrise view over Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After breakfast, trek to Tikhedunga. (1512 m.)
Day 10: Trek to Nayapool. Trek ends, drive to Pokhara,
Day 11: Fly to Kathmandu and enjoy free day shopping and packing.
Day 12: Final departure.
